Director, Camp Dudley (1985)
Matt started as a full-season cub in 1985 in Burr Lodge and has been involved at Dudley ever since. Some of his best friends in life are from Dudley, and all of his other friends know of his passion for Camp. Prior to to his start as Director, he was the Camp’s Business Manager, and before that owned a marketing agency in Williamstown, MA, that specialized in working with non-profits, youth organizations and small businesses. At Dudley he was a camper, leader, Division Head, Program Director and lead the Camp Dudley Association as well as serving on the Board of Trustees. A 1996 graduate of St. Lawrence University, he studied English and played soccer and basketball, (and more importantly, where he met his wife, Jessica C. Storey #16999).
Matt has always loved working with kids on and off the fields. Being the Camp Director is Matt’s dream job, and when recently asked what his favorite summer was, he noted “each one is better than the last, including my first as Director in 2010!” Matt lives and plays on campus in Westport with his wife Jessica and three kids, Ellie, Carter and Rachel. All three kids have been campers and leaders and have loved every minute of their time at camp. Matt also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Holderness School, where two of kids have been students.
