J.J. Alexander, #15293
#15293 Jerome “J.J.” Alexander’s first Camp experience began in 1990 as a Senior in William’s Cabin under the leadership of #11887 Bill Manning. He loved camp so much that he returned the following year as an Aide. Little did he know that this was the summer that would change his life. At the end of the Camp season, Willie and Louis Schmidt asked J.J. to live with them and attend school in Westport. J.J. lived with the Schmidt’s for 3 years until he graduated from Westport Central School in 1994.
J.J. currently works for Con Edison, In NYC, where he manages a Strategic Procurement Team which focuses on implementing new processes, procedures, and technologies in the company’s environmental space. In 1998 he graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a B.A. in Anthropology. In 2015 he attended Mercy College and received a Dual Concentration M.B.A. in International Business and Marketing. In 2020 he received a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certiﬁcation from Boston University and in 2021 he completed his M.S. in Global Supply Chain Management from Boston University. He currently lives in Katonah New York with his wife Monica and two children #26293 Anastacia (14) and Rome (8). Anastacia who spent her first summer at Kiniya in 2021 attends The Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry N.Y. Rome attends the Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford N.Y. and is anxious to be a Cub in 2023.
